Bag Balm for Shoes and Skin
Right now, some of us have a lot more time on our hands while others have no time at all trying to balance work, children's education and entertainment, and life in general. As for me, having two very active boys (ages three and one) while trying to build a new business has been very challenging. I’m trying to maximize my time at the best I can.
While spending time with my boys, I like to use the time to teach them some practical and useful ManlyGents tips. One activity I find relaxing and useful is to clean my shoes - especially when the weather isn’t nice. Your hands and your shoes are your first business card, so I like to make sure I take care of them.
For people who have the time and ability, there are a lot of products and options to keep their shoes looking like new. For people who don't have much time or if they are looking for a practical and economical product, I highly recommend Bag Balm.
I prefer to do my shoes myself. If I've invested in the quality of the leather of my shoes, it’s important to me take good care of them. In Fall and Winter, I make sure I never run out of Bag balm because it is a daily life saver. When the air gets dry and cold, our skin reacts to it, and the same thing happens to the leather on shoes. If the leather gets too dry, it can crack and there is not much you can do after that. So, it is important to always moisturize the leather. It is also important to water-proof your shoes to avoid water damage in rain and snow. Bag Balm both moistures and provides a water-proof coating for shoes making it one of my favorite products.
As I mentioned, I do this quickly before I leave the house in the cold months. It’s an easy and fast process. Using a microfiber cloth (or a paper towel if easier), apply some Bag Balm in different areas around the shoe. Gently rub it in to make a uniform layer of moisture. That’s it! That’s all it takes to ensure my shoes look good and are in good shape.
Bag Balm can serve many other purposes as well. It’s convenient to always have around the house for:
